A ladylike look at culture
Created before the era of Pinterest and Instagram, LadyLikes began as a collection of visual inspiration. The blog has since evolved to contain essays on classic film, design, art, illustration, fashion miscellanea and travel destinations, collectively offering a ladylike look at culture.
The blog features artworks by over 200 artists including Hergé, M.C. Escher, Antoni Tàpies, and Helen Frankenthaler, stills from over 70 cinematic pieces by directors including Ingmar Bergman, Georges Méliès, and Jean-Luc Godard, as well as travel diaries of over 80 locations in Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa.
Among the range of entries are interviews with photographers Jean-Louis Blondeau and Carlos López García, as well as exclusive coverage of Le Méridien's New Perspective events.
