The British Blues

Lady San PedroComment
Notting Hill

The skies are not always blue in my new home city. But when they are, they're poetic. Patches of cerulean peek out from tufts of pale cornflower, giving shape to copious clouds. Powder blues gradate, diminishing in saturation before fading into grey.

London skies may require romanticizing but indisputable is the historical, architecturally sensational cityscape it canopies. A month since moving here, I haven't yet had many chances to roam beyond Notting Hill, which has been a peaceful and charming place for starting yet another leg of life.

There's still rest of the city to see though. And I hope for the blues, at least with regards to the sky. See you around!
